Our one and only service starts at 11:00 am and we like to start on time so, if you show up a little early you'll have time to get comfy, find a seat, and say hello to a few friendly faces.

Expressive arts can be a very effective form of self-help therapy, recovery and discovery. The combination of creative expression with faith provides new artists and non-artists alike, with opportunities for growth - mentally, emotionally, artistically and spiritually.
Dance, movement, drama, music, and poetry (unlike traditional art expression) are where the artistic process - in community with others and the church - is emphasized rather than the final product.

Workshops are held in a group setting, all tools and supplies are provided, and the expectation for transformation is highly encouraged. But don't take our word for it, you should try it out for yourself!

SVC Baptism
Here at Sunnyslope, we believe water baptism is three-dimensional ... a symbolic act of obedience, a public declaration and a celebration of your decision to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Water baptism is an outward declaration of the covenant that you’ve made to follow God, in the same way that a wedding and wedding ring are an outward declaration of a marriage covenant. As your church, we would be honored to celebrate with you as you publicly declare your decision to live a life surrendered to Jesus.

Community Outreach
This is a specialty group that does three to four outreaches per year, depending on the season and the weather. We go into the Sunnyslope community + nearby communities — from the top of the hills to the bottom of the valley — seeking to touch lives in simple, practical ways.

LIGHTRAIL OUTREACH: We will be riding the newly-completed lightrail in Phoenix, handing out tracts and praying for those who will allow us to. This is an outdoor event so the weather is a key component!
